To define the performance of its portfolios, Birdee uses the Time-Weighted Return (Time-Weighted Return) method. This defines the relative performance of a portfolio, which means that the performance is net of the contributions and withdrawals that a user could make. Gains, on the other hand, are defined as financial profits, in other words, amounts of money earned compared to a starting bet.
